Jackie Clayton

Jackie Clayton has extensive experience in public service and business, currently serving as the Mayor and a Councillor for the City of Grande Prairie since October 2013. In addition to public office, Jackie has owned Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory Canada since 2003, demonstrating a strong entrepreneurial spirit. Previous roles include Vice President of Public Relations and Partnerships at Pomeroy Lodging LP from September 2014 to June 2019, and Director of the Board of Governors at Grande Prairie Regional College until May 2015. Jackie also worked as a Commercial Fleet Manager at Hansen Ford from September 2011 to September 2014 and was the Board Chair for the Grande Prairie & District Chamber of Commerce from 2006 to 2007. Educationally, Jackie holds a Sales and Marketing Diploma from Langara College, completed in 1991, and studied at Coast Mountain College in 1989-1990.
