John Hunt

John Hunt is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) management and application development. Since July 2012, John has served as the Enterprise GIS Manager for the City of Grapevine, where responsibilities include strategic planning, setting enterprise standards, managing GIS implementation and maintenance, and providing training and technical support for staff. Prior to this role, John held positions at ESRI as a Senior Account Representative and at the North Central Texas Council of Governments as Manager of GIS. Additional roles include GIS Analyst at Carter & Burgess and Halff Associates, and Band Director at Cypress-Fairbanks I.S.D. John holds a Master of Landscape Architecture from The University of Texas at Arlington, a Master of Music from West Texas A&M University, and a Bachelor of Music Education from the same institution.
