Claire Mewing

Claire Mewing is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in community engagement and health promotion. Currently serving as a Senior Place Activation Officer and previously holding positions such as Smart City Project Officer and Smart City Office Communications & Engagement at the City of Greater Geelong since August 2019, Claire has a strong background in improving community well-being. Prior to this role, experience includes various positions at Wyndham City Council from March 2013 to July 2019, such as Improvement Capability Developer and Active Communities Project Officer, as well as a Health Promotion Officer role at Dianella Health from 2009 to 2011. Claire holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Health Promotion from Deakin University and a Bachelor of Arts in History and Anthropology from La Trobe University.
