Zelidieth “Dee” Tyson-Jones

Dee Tyson-Jones, MPA-HR, has a diverse work experience in human resources leadership positions. Zelidieth “Dee” is currently serving as the Human Resources Director for the City of Green Cove Springs, where they are responsible for managing and directing all HR functions. Prior to this, they held the same position at the City of Americus, where they also developed the department's annual budget. Dee has also worked as a Human Resources Director/Manager at Accord Services and as a Regional Human Resources Manager at Providence Service Corporation. Zelidieth “Dee” started their career as a Human Resources Generalist at Clark Atlanta University and as a Human Resources Assistant at First Union National Bank. Throughout their roles, Dee has demonstrated expertise in recruitment, benefits administration, employee relations, training, and payroll, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations and implementing policy changes as necessary.

Zelidieth "Dee" Tyson-Jones, MPA-HR earned a Masters of Public Administration with a focus on Human Resource Management from Clark Atlanta University (2001-2004). Zelidieth “Dee” also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication from Fort Valley State University (graduated in 2000).
