Tim White has a diverse work experience in law enforcement. Tim started their career as a Police Officer in the City of Greenbelt, Maryland in August 2007. Tim then progressed through various roles, including Police Corporal, Police Sergeant, Police Lieutenant, and Police Captain. Currently, they hold the position of Deputy Chief of Police at the City of Greenbelt, starting in May 2023. Prior to their tenure in Greenbelt, Tim worked as a Police Corporal at the Anne Arundel County Police Department from October 2002 to August 2007.

Tim White has a diverse educational background. Tim obtained their Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) in Business Administration and Management, General from the University of Baltimore between 2001 and 2016. Prior to that, they attended Anne Arundel Community College from 1999 to 2001, where they earned an Associates in General Studies.

Tim furthered their education by pursuing a Graduate Certificate in Criminal Justice Education from the University of Virginia, and completed it in 2022. In the same year, they also attained a Master's degree in Criminal Justice Management from the University of Maryland Global Campus.
