Douglas Hollberg

Douglas Hollberg serves as the Mayor of Griffin, Georgia, having held the position since January 2004, while also being a City Commissioner At-Large responsible for overseeing a $105 million annual budget and a workforce of 450 employees serving approximately 23,500 residents. Additionally, Douglas is an Insurance Agency Owner at Hollberg Insurance Agency, providing full-service personal and commercial insurance solutions since May 2022, and has been the Owner/General Manager of Hollberg Properties, a small family business focused on affordable residential rentals in Griffin and Spalding County for over 50 years. Since October 2014, Douglas has also worked as an Agent specializing in Property and Casualty Insurance at Dan Rivers Insurance. Douglas holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Business Management from the University of North Georgia, graduated in 1990.
