Babawale Oke

Babawale Oke, PMP®, serves as an Engineering Project Coordinator for the City of Guelph since March 2023. Previously, Babawale held the role of Gig Lab Freelance International Student Advisor at Conestoga Entrepreneurship Collective, focusing on supporting freelance entrepreneurs. From September 2017 to September 2021, Babawale worked as an Asset Integrity Coordinator and Project Engineer at Marine Platforms Limited, where responsibilities included asset integrity management and project planning. Prior experience includes positions as a Structural Design Engineer at WorleyParsons and Fortnet Oil & Gas, and as a Project Site Representative and Reporting Officer at Nivafer Steel Construction Company Limited. Babawale holds postgraduate certificates in Project Management and Predictive Analytics from Conestoga College, along with a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from Obafemi Awolowo University.
