Joe E Amaral

Joe E Amaral, CPFP, currently serves as the Division Manager of Fleet Services for the City Of Guelph, a role held since June 2017, overseeing various aspects of fleet management including procurement, maintenance, and compliance. Prior to this position, Joe held leadership roles such as Manager of Recreation Operations for the City of Hamilton and General Manager of Fleet & Equipment for Miller Group o/a Miller Maintenance Ltd., where responsibilities included technical and financial oversight of a diverse fleet across Ontario. Joe's career in fleet management began at the City of London from 1994 to 2014 as Director of Fleet & Facilities, managing a large municipal fleet and facilities. Earlier experience includes serving as Fleet Manager for United Parcel Service, managing a fleet of over 350 power units. Joe holds a degree from Ivey Business School at Western University and various certifications in Public Administration and Transportation Technology from Fanshawe College.
