Geovanne Neste

Geovanne Neste began their work experience at Marcum LLP in January 2012 as an Assurance Supervisor. In this role, they were responsible for executing daily fieldwork activities, supervising engagements, preparing and reviewing financial statements, developing relationships with clients, providing feedback and training to staff, and conducting technical research. Geovanne'sexpertise included working with governmental entities, travel, and various industries. Geovanne worked at Marcum LLP until April 2018.

In May 2018, Geovanne joined the City of Hallandale Beach as an Assistant Finance Director. In this role, they contributed to the finance department by overseeing financial activities and assisting the finance director. After three years in this position, they were promoted to Finance Director in August 2021, where they continue to work.

Geovanne Neste completed their secondary education from Coral Reef Senior High School between 2002 and 2006. During this period, they pursued studies in the field of Criminal Justice/Police Science. Following this, they attended Florida International University from 2006 to 2011, where they earned their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Accounting.
