Rory Doucette

Rory Doucette is an experienced parks management professional with a progressive career across multiple municipalities in Ontario. Currently serving as the Manager of Parks for the City of Hamilton since February 2025, Rory previously held the position of Manager of Parks Operations with the City of Brantford, focusing on delivering sustainable services to the community from November 2022 to February 2025. Earlier roles include Manager of Parks and Open Spaces for the City of Welland, and Manager of Parks Operations and Cemetery Services for the City of Waterloo, where Rory contributed to community development and public service enhancement. Additionally, Rory has held various supervisory roles in Oakville, where responsibilities extended to overseeing cemetery operations and managing sports fields. Involvement in the United Way Oakville's fundraising efforts and leadership as President of Cupe Local 136 demonstrates a commitment to community engagement and labor relations. Rory is currently pursuing a Diploma in Human Resources Management and Services at Sheridan College, building upon an Executive certification in Municipal Management from Schulich School of Business.
