Matt Little

Matt Little possesses extensive experience in recreation and event management, currently serving as the Recreation and Special Events Manager for the City of Harrisonburg, VA since January 2020. Previous roles include Assistant Director of Parks & Recreation for the City of Winchester from November 2016 to December 2019 and various positions at the City of Harrisonburg from 2010 to 2016, including Special Projects Coordinator and Recreation Program Specialist. Prior to this, Matt Little worked at James Madison University as the Assistant Director of Athletic Facilities & Events from 2005 to 2010. Academically, Matt Little holds a Master's degree in Parks, Recreation and Leisure Studies from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign (2014-2015) and a Bachelor's degree in Sport Management from James Madison University (2001-2005).
