Public Safety and Compliance

The Public Safety and Compliance team at the City of Harrisonburg, VA, is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the community through effective emergency response, cybersecurity measures, and regulatory compliance. Led by the City Manager, the team coordinates public safety initiatives, oversees compliance with safety regulations, and manages cybersecurity risks to protect city operations and sensitive information. Through collaboration among its members, including the Fire Battalion Chief and Cybersecurity and Compliance Specialist, the team aims to enhance overall community resilience and safety.
