Ande Banks

Ande Banks has over a decade of experience in local government, currently serving as the City Manager for the City of Harrisonburg, VA, since September 2009. This role follows a progression through various positions within the city, including Deputy City Manager, Assistant to the City Manager, and Director of Special Projects and Grants Management. Prior to this, Ande Banks worked as a District Representative for the U.S. House of Representatives from June 2001 to September 2009. Educational credentials include a Master's Degree in Public Administration from James Madison University, a Graduate Certificate in Local Government Management from Virginia Tech, and a Bachelor of Science in History from Eastern Mennonite University.
