James Woulfe

James Woulfe serves as the Chief of Staff to the 68th Mayor of Hartford, Arunan Arulampalam, since April 2024. Prior to this role, Woulfe was the Assistant Vice President at Travelers Institute from June 2022 to April 2024. Woulfe also held the position of Director of Government Affairs at The Connecticut Group, LLC from November 2016 to June 2022, and was the Director of Advocacy & External Affairs at reSET - Social Enterprise Trust between May 2012 and October 2016. Academically, Woulfe holds a Doctor of Law (J.D.) in Social Enterprise Law from Quinnipiac University School of Law and a B.A./B.S. in Business and Communications, with a minor in Public Policy from Eastern Connecticut State University.
