Marybeth Bergin

Marybeth Bergin has extensive experience in transportation and engineering. Marybeth currently holds the position of Director of Transportation and Engineering at the City of Hattiesburg, a role they started in June 2023. Prior to this, they served as the Assistant Traffic Engineering Director at the City of Mobile, AL from August 2011 to May 2023. Marybeth also worked as a Project Engineer at Neel-Schaffer, Inc. from September 2005 to July 2011 and as an Engineer Intern at Comprehensive Engineering Services, Inc. from February 2004 to July 2005. Marybeth began their career as a Co-op Student at Gulf Power Company in January 2001 and concluded their internship in August 2002.

Marybeth Bergin earned a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from Auburn University, Samuel Ginn College of Engineering, where they attended from 1999 to 2003.
