Norman Mars

Norman Mars has served as a Police Captain for the City of Hazelwood, MO since November 2020, overseeing the Neighborhood Patrol Team. Prior roles within the same city include Watch Commander, Criminal Investigations Supervisor, Traffic Supervisor, and Patrol Supervisor, where responsibilities ranged from managing daily operations, overseeing criminal investigations, to ensuring traffic safety and compliance with accreditation standards. Norman Mars began law enforcement career as a Police Officer in both the Traffic Unit and Patrol Division, and also worked as a Telecommunicator, handling emergency calls. Education includes attendance at Northwestern University's School of Police Staff and Command, and completion of a Class A Certification at the Eastern Missouri Police Academy.
