Desmond Tan

Desmond Tan is a Professional Engineer licensed in California and Nevada, currently serving as a Project Engineer II at the City of Henderson since May 2024. Prior experience includes roles as Project Engineer and Senior Project Engineer at Latitude 33 Planning & Engineering between November 2021 and May 2024, as well as Project Engineer at GCW, Inc. from October 2020 to November 2021. Desmond began building experience in transportation design as an Engineer-in-Training at HDR from May 2016 to November 2018 and contributed as a Roadway Design Analyst and Intern at Kimley-Horn from January 2014 to May 2016. Leadership experience includes serving as President and Representative Officer for UNLV ASCE, focusing on student outreach and recruitment, along with a role as Project Assistant at G.C. Wallace. Desmond holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Nevada-Las Vegas, earned in 2014.
