Saad Malim

Saad Malim, P.E., currently serves as a Senior Engineer for the City of Hermosa Beach, having previously held various engineering roles at the City of Santa Monica from December 2016 to April 2023, including Civil Engineer/Construction Manager and Civil Engineering Associate/Construction Manager, overseeing capital improvement projects in infrastructure and public works. Prior to this, Saad worked as a Senior Staff Engineer and Staff Engineer at Converse Consultants, focusing on geotechnical investigations and construction testing for water pipeline projects. Initial experience includes working as an Estimator Intern at CPM Construction Inc. and managing school operations as a Principal-Teacher at the Institute of Knowledge. Educational credentials include a Master's degree in Engineering Management from the University of Louisville and a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from California State Polytechnic University-Pomona.
