Jaime Garza

Jaime Garza has a diverse work experience spanning multiple organizations and roles. Starting in 2016, they worked as an Intern at Pharr IT and PSJA ISD. In 2017, they joined Hidalgo County Sheriffs Office as a Technician III, progressing to Technician IV in 2019. In 2021, Jaime became a Network and Data Specialist at Vanguard Academy STEAM Charter School. Currently, they are serving as the Director of Technology at the City of Hidalgo since December 2022.

Jaime Garza holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Technology from South Texas College, which they obtained from 2018 to 2023. Prior to that, they completed an Associate of Applied Science in Networking Specialist from South Texas College from 2015 to 2018. Jaime also obtained a High School Diploma from Thomas Jefferson T-STEM ECHS in 2017. Additionally, Jaime holds Certificates in Computer Networking Specialist and Cyber Security/Digital Forensics Specialist from South Texas College, obtained from 2015 to 2016 and 2014 to 2016, respectively.

Jaime Garza has obtained two additional certifications: a Spillman Certified System Administrator certification from Spillman Technologies in 2019 and a CompTIA IT Fundamentals Certification from CompTIA in 2016.
