Ed Merritt III

Ed Merritt III currently serves as the Recreation and Parks Director for the City of Hilliard, Ohio, a position held since September 2018. Prior to this role, Ed held the position of Director of Parks and Recreation for the Village of Obetz from January 2017 to September 2018. Ed's extensive experience in recreation management also includes serving as Recreation Superintendent at Grove City Parks and Recreation Department from July 2008 to January 2017 and Recreation Supervisor at the City of Kettering Parks, Recreation and Cultural Arts Department from May 1998 to July 2008. Ed earned a Master's degree in Public Administration from the University of Dayton and holds a bachelor's degree from Bowling Green State University, complemented by a high school education at Grove City High School.
