Allen Mao

Allen Mao has extensive experience in the field of informatics and high-performance computing, currently serving as the Director of Translational Research Informatics and High-Performance Compute at City of Hope since August 2010. Previously, Allen held roles such as Sr. Manager of Translational Research Informatics and Manager of the High Performance Research Computing Center at the same institution, demonstrating a strong progression in responsibility. Allen began the career at City of Hope in June 2004, where initial positions included System Administrator and Research Associate II. Prior to this, Allen worked as an Engineer at Makena Technologies from January 2008 to August 2010. Educational background includes a degree from UC San Diego, obtained between 2000 and 2004.
