Scott Sarran

Scott Sarran, MD, MM, is an experienced managed care executive with over 30 years of leadership roles across both the payer and provider sectors. A triple graduate of Northwestern University (undergraduate, medical school and business school), he is board-certified in family medicine and geriatrics and practiced for 15 years before transitioning to administrative leadership roles. He has served as Chief Medical Officer in both small start-up companies and large complex organizations (Advocate HealthCare and HealthCare Service Corporation). He has also worked as a consultant to several leading managed care organizations.

He currently is Chief Medical Officer for MoreCare IL, a start-up group of Medicare Advantage Plans serving both broad and targeted (nursing-facility eligible, HIV-positive members) populations of Medicare beneficiaries in Cook County.
