Tae Hyuk Kang

Staff Scientist (integrative Genomics Core) at City of Hope

Tae Hyuk Kang is a highly experienced scientist with a strong background in genomics and bioinformatics, currently serving as a Staff Scientist in the Integrative Genomics Core at City of Hope since May 2016. Prior to this role, Tae Hyuk worked as a Bioinformatician at OHSU from September 2015 to April 2016, and as an Associate Research Scientist at Yale School of Medicine, focusing on VEGF-C/VEGFR3 signaling in adult neural stem cells from November 2013 to August 2015. Additionally, Tae Hyuk has contributed to research as a Postdoctoral Employee at the University of California, San Diego, investigating dopaminergic neuronal development from January 2009 to April 2013, and has held research positions at the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology and the Korea Research Institute of Bioscience and Biotechnology. Tae Hyuk holds a Ph.D. in Medical Science and multiple degrees in Neuroscience and Physical Education from Kyung Hee University.
