Toufic Kachaamy MD FASGE AGAF FACG serves as the Chief of Medicine and Director of Gastroenterology at City of Hope in Phoenix, AZ, since February 2023, and is also a Clinical Associate Professor. In addition, Toufic Kachaamy is the Chair and Founder of the Endoscopic Oncology Special Interest Group at the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (ASGE) and a Medical Advisory Council Member for the Colon Cancer Coalition. As a member of the American College of Gastroenterology's Innovation Committee, Toufic Kachaamy has contributed to innovative practices in the field. Previously, Toufic Kachaamy held several key positions at the Cancer Treatment Centers of America, including Chief of Medicine and Medical Director of Gastroenterology. Education includes advanced training in Endoscopy from the Mayo Clinic Alix School of Medicine and a Doctor of Medicine degree from the American University of Beirut.
