Jessica McGowan

Jessica McGowan is currently the Assistant Director at the City of Houston Mayor's Office of Education. Jessica previously worked as an intern at the City of Houston Mayor's Office in the Anti-Human Trafficking department. In this role, they were responsible for supporting the Ten/Ten Muni-Fellowship program, editing the Phase 2 of the City's Anti-Human Trafficking Strategic Plan, drafting and submitting press releases, and providing input and support for the reorganization of the Mayor's Anti-Human Trafficking Policy Council. Jessica also conducted a content analysis of media depictions of human trafficking.

Jessica McGowan has a Bachelor's Degree in Communication from Texas A&M University.
