Kathleen Martinez

Kathleen Martinez serves as the Head of Education and Skills Integration, Workforce Transition at bp, where Kathleen leads the integration strategy for education, skills development, and social mobility initiatives. Previously, Kathleen held positions such as Executive Director of the bp Global Foundation, where operations and technological advancements resulted in improved efficacy, and Sr. Director of Strategic Relationships & Initiatives for Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, focusing on partnerships to enhance opportunities for diverse candidates in STEM fields. Kathleen's extensive experience includes roles as Senior Manager of Community Affairs at bp, Director of the Houston Mayor's Hispanic Advisory Board, and Board Director for the USHCC Educational Fund. Additional experience encompasses leadership roles in community engagement at BBVA Compass and Wachovia - Wells Fargo, and serves as press secretary for the U.S. House of Representatives. Kathleen holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from The University of Texas at San Antonio.
