Mike Pitera

Technology Director at City of Howell

Mike Pitera started their work experience as a Network Manager at DE-STA-CO in 1994, where they created and managed schedules for design projects and oversaw the network, telephony systems, computers, and servers at the Plymouth location. In 2002, they joined the City of Howell as the Technology Director, responsible for managing all computer and network resources, electronic information, and communications for the city and its employees. Mike currently supports a wide range of technology services, including computer systems, servers, the fiber wide area network, the city's web and online presence, the cable access channel, the city hall security system, and telephony services.

Mike Pitera earned an Associate in Applied Science degree in Computer Information Systems Programmer from Schoolcraft College from 1990 to 1996. Mike then pursued a Bachelor's Of Business Administration degree in Information Technology Management from Cleary University from 1999 to 2002.
