Jakob Bigard

Jakob Bigard currently serves as the Economic Development Director for the City of Hudsonville, where responsibilities include developing strategies for economic growth, preparing development incentives, and collaborating with local businesses and stakeholders. Previously, Jakob held the position of Executive Director of the Montcalm Economic Alliance at The Right Place, Inc., and participated as a Next-Gen Leadership Ambassador with the White House Historical Association. Additional roles include serving as Program Manager for the Hauenstein Center for Presidential Studies and working as an Assistant Cidermaker at Farmhaus Cider Co. Jakob holds a Master of Public Administration with a focus on State, Regional, and Local Governance and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government, both from Grand Valley State University.
