Derick Sorensen

Derick Sorensen is an experienced accounting professional currently serving as Accountant III at the City of Idaho Falls since January 2016, where progression from Accountant I to Accountant II Supervisor has been achieved. Derick also took on the role of Project Lead for payroll configuration during the implementation of the Cayenta software ERP. Prior experience includes roles as an accounting intern at Candlewood Suites Idaho Falls from August 2009 to July 2016. Derick holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Brigham Young University - Idaho, completed in 2016, as well as an Associate of Applied Science in Criminal Justice from Pikes Peak State College, earned in 2002.
