Byron Williams has over 28 years of work experience in the IT field. Byron has served as an Infrastructure Team Lead at the City of Irvine since January 2020, where they manage day-to-day operations and priorities of the infrastructure team for the City and Police Department. From October 2018 to January 2020, they worked as a Senior System Administrator at the City of Anaheim, installing and maintaining VMware vCenter. Prior to that, they were a Systems Engineer at LERETA, LLC from October 2016 to October 2018, supporting a VMware environment. Byron also has experience as a Systems Engineer at the Superior Court of California, County of Riverside from March 2011 to October 2016, and as a Senior Systems Administrator at Arrowhead General Insurance Agency from March 2001 to November 2008. Byron began their career as a Systems Administrator at Willis, Inc from August 1996 to March 2001, and as a Systems Analyst III at Bergen Brunswig Corp from May 1992 to January 1996.

Byron Williams attended National University from 1992 to 1995, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a minor in Computers. Their degree program focused on Business Administration and Management, General. In 2000, Byron obtained a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer certification from Microsoft.
