Joslyn Fritz, MESM, CGBP, is currently serving as an Energy and Climate Specialist for the City of Santa Barbara since January 2023. Prior experience includes roles as an Environmental Services Specialist for the City of Goleta and an Engineering Technician for the City of Santa Barbara, where responsibilities encompassed CEQA compliance reviews, stakeholder coordination, and project assistance for water and infrastructure initiatives. Joslyn's background also includes a fellowship focused on food waste reduction with the County of Los Angeles Department of Public Works, teaching assistantship at Bren School of Environmental Science & Management, and project management at VCA Green, where extensive knowledge of green building regulations was applied. Academic qualifications include a Master’s degree in Environmental Science and Management and a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, both from UC Santa Barbara, complemented by an Associate's degree from Santiago Canyon College.
