Farhad Bolourchi has a diverse work experience in the field of civil engineering. Farhad began their career as a Junior Engineer-Eng Intern at OCSD in 2008 and worked there until 2013. From 2013 to 2015, they served as a Project Manager/Project Engineer at the City of Los Angeles. Following this, they worked as a Project Manager at Alameda County from 2015 to 2019. From 2019 to 2020, they served as an Associate Engineer/Project Engineer at the City of Carlsbad. Farhad then joined the City of Huntington Beach in 2020 and worked as a Project Manager/Construction Administrator until 2022. Farhad Bolourchi is currently employed at the City of Irvine as a Senior Project Manager.
Farhad Bolourchi holds a Master of Science (MS) degree in Civil Engineering from California State University, Long Beach. Farhad also obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Civil Engineering from the same institution. Additionally, they pursued Applied Project Management at UC Irvine and Project Management at the University of California, Irvine Division of Continuing Education. Farhad Bolourchi is also recognized for their various certifications, including Associate Memberships in ITE, ASCE Orange County, ASCE Los Angeles Younger Members (LA YMF), and the Water Environment Federation. Farhad has an Associate of Science degree from Orange Coast College. Farhad Bolourchi is certified as a Certified Emergency Management Specialist (CEMS) by FEMA and as a Certified Specialist in Inspection CIIP by the National Association of Sewer Service Companies. Farhad has also earned certifications as a Civil Engineer in Training from both the State of California and NCEES, as well as a LEED Green Associate from the U.S. Green Building Council. Furthermore, Farhad Bolourchi has achieved the prestigious Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute and UC Irvine.
