Arjen B. is a Geographic Information System Specialist at the City of Ithaca's Department of Public Works since April 2022, with a background in research and data management as an aspiring GIS Analyst starting in November 2021. Arjen began a career in accounting as an Accounting/Auditing Assistant at Acera Accountants & Raadgevers, providing financial services to small businesses. Arjen holds multiple degrees, including a Master’s in Geographic Information Science and a Bachelor’s in Business Administration with a focus on Auditing from NHL Hogeschool, along with certifications in Data Science and Geographic Information Systems.
