Maurice Imhoff is the Founder and President of the Jackson County Michigan Historical Society, established in November 2020, where responsibilities include board formation, fundraising, and original research for educational videos. As a Commissioner for the City of Jackson since January 2020, Maurice serves on the Human Relations Commission and acts as Vice Chair of the Historic District Commission, also advising the city's first Youth Council. Maurice's experience includes a Program and Events Coordinator role with Michigan Humanities, a Policy Associate intern at Michigan AFL-CIO, and multiple internships with the State of Michigan and Smithsonian Institution. Educational pursuits include studies at Jackson College and Harvard University, with a previous high school diploma from Northwest High School and coursework through edX.
