Kirkland Carden

Kirkland Carden is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in public service and urban planning. Currently serving as a Partner at The Residential Group Inc since October 2022, Kirkland also holds the position of County Commissioner with Gwinnett County Government, an elected role since January 2021. Previously, Kirkland worked with the Georgia Department of Transportation as both an Environmental Project Manager and Transportation Planner from May 2017 to April 2022, and served as a City Council Member for the City of Duluth from January 2018 to March 2020. Earlier experience includes a role as an Urban Planner at Jacobs from October 2015 to January 2017. Kirkland earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from Georgia State University between 2010 and 2015.
