Kimberly Lindsay Williams has extensive experience in human resources and leadership roles. Kimberly started their career as the Director of Human Resources at Carnival Hotels & Resorts in 1987 and later held the same position at Preferred Choice Health Care from 1994 to 1997. From 1997 to 2001, they served as the Director of Human Resources at Burger King Corporation, overseeing HR functions for over 30,000 employees nationwide.

In 2001, Kimberly transitioned to the public sector and became the Director of Human Resources for a Local Government and School Division, where they led the HR team and managed various aspects of HR including Total Rewards, HRIS, Organizational Development, Equity/Diversity, and Health and Wellness initiatives.

Kimberly then took on the role of Director of Community Development Lending and Human Resources at Piedmont Housing Alliance from 2011 to 2012, before joining the Employer Support of the Guard & Reserve (ESGR) as the Director of Employment Initiative Program for Virginia. In this role, they developed and implemented a statewide program to integrate veterans and service members into the public and private workforce.

Subsequently, Kimberly became the Chief Human Resource Officer for the City of Jacksonville NC (Government) in 2012, overseeing HR operations and strategies. Kimberly also served as the Chief Executive Officer of North Carolina for Military Employment (NC4ME) starting from 2013.

Throughout their career, they have also been an instructor at Webster University, teaching courses related to their expertise.
