Christine Hoffman has served as the Executive Director of the Beaches Museum & History Center since June 2014. In addition to this role, Christine has been a Board Member at the UF Tourism, Hospitality & Event Management Department and the Eric Friedheim Tourism Institute since November 2022 and has held the position of Mayor of the City of Jacksonville Beach since November 2020. Christine also occupies the role of Vice Chairman of the Board at Baptist Medical Center of the Beaches, Inc. and serves as Vice Chair of the Board of Directors for the Preferred Governmental Insurance Trust. As a Minority Owner at Orion Solutions LLC since August 2003, Christine has extensive experience in local governance, previously serving on the Jacksonville Beach City Council from November 2012 to November 2020 and as a Board Member for the Volunteer Life Saving Corp until December 2022. Christine's educational background includes a BA in Political Science and Criminology from the University of Florida, as well as a degree from the University of North Florida - College of Business Administration.
