Jimmy Peluso

Jimmy Peluso serves as the Councilmember for Jacksonville City Council District 7 since May 2023, showcasing involvement in local governance. As the Government Affairs Manager at VyStar Credit Union since October 2021, Jimmy also held significant roles in the Military Sealift Command as a Lieutenant Commander from 2015 to 2021, focusing on operations management. Previous experience includes leadership positions with the Jacksonville Symphony as Director of Business Partnerships, and as a Field Director for Florida Senate Victory, where strategic campaign planning was implemented. Jimmy's work with K9s for Warriors and the St. Johns River Water Management District reflects a commitment to community service and environmental advocacy. An educational background includes a Master's in Public Administration from the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor's in Political Science from The George Washington University.
