Ernie Rhodes

Ernie Rhodes currently serves as the Fire Chief for the City of Janesville and Milton since March 2019. Rhodes has extensive experience in emergency management and urban search and rescue, holding the position of Operations Section Chief for the Blue Incident Support Team with IST FEMA USAR since March 2009, and serving as Task Force Leader for Missouri Task Force 1 (FEMA US&R) since May 2000. Previously, Rhodes directed the State of Missouri Emergency Management Agency from February 2017 to October 2018 and was the Fire Chief for West County EMS and Fire District from October 2012 to February 2017, as well as for the City of St. Charles from October 2002 to October 2012. Additionally, Rhodes hosted Flashover TV, a program focused on fire ground tactics, from January 2011 to April 2012. Ernie Rhodes earned a BA in Applied Behavioral Science from National Louis University (1997-2000) and attended St. Louis University (1985-1986).
