David Murnain has extensive experience in information technology and management, currently serving as the Manager of Information Technology at the City of Joondalup since August 2002, following a role as Coordinator of Business Systems. Prior to this, David worked as a Technical Consultant at Quadrem and held various positions at BHP Billiton, including Business Systems Manager, Senior IT Auditor, and Project Manager / Programmer Analyst. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Computer Science from the University of Newcastle, a Graduate Diploma of Management in Information Systems from Edith Cowan University, and completion of the AICD Company Directors Course at the Australian Institute of Company Directors in 2018, among other certifications.
