Anne Kaps

Anne Kaps has over 35 years of experience in accounting and financial reporting, currently serving as the Manager of Financial Reporting for the City of Kansas City, MO since October 1999. Anne prepares monthly financial reports for major governmental funds and has extensive experience with annual audits and the Comprehensive Annual Financial Report, including GASB 34 conversion. Prior roles include positions at H&R Block, where Anne advanced from Rapid Refund Analyst to Electronic Filing Analyst I, and various accounting roles with the City of Kansas City, where operations ranged from retirement accounting to municipal auditing. Earlier experience encompasses senior accountant roles at Joseph Wallace & Associates and Investors Fiduciary Trust Corporation, as well as self-employment in accounting services. Anne Kaps holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting from Kansas State University.
