Melinda Merrell

Melinda Merrell has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Melinda is currently the Director of Finance & Administration at the City of Kenmore since February 2023. Prior to this, they served as the Finance & Business Operations Manager at the City of Seattle from September 2017 to December 2022. Before their role at the City of Seattle, Melinda held two positions at Renton Technical College; Vice President Administration & Finance from August 2009 to August 2017 and Director of Financial Services from September 2001 to August 2009. Melinda also worked as a Financial Reporting Manager at Washington Mutual from 1998 to 2001 and in financial reporting at At&t solutions customer care from 1996 to 1998. Prior to that, they worked as an Auditor at Coopers & Lybrand Consulting from 1994 to 1996. Melinda started their professional career in the US Army, serving as an E-3 from August 1986 to May 1988.
