Nigel Herbig is an accomplished political professional with extensive experience in government relations and campaign management. Currently serving as the Intergovernmental Relations Manager for the King County Regional Homelessness Authority since December 2021, Nigel also holds the position of Mayor of Kenmore, where responsibilities include overseeing a $26 million budget and city policies for a population exceeding 22,000. Nigel's prior roles include Senior Legislative Assistant for the Washington State House of Representatives, a Fundraising Consultant for McKenna Hartman Consulting, and Deputy Campaign Manager for Rick Larsen's successful re-election campaign. Earlier career highlights include serving as Legislative Assistant in Seattle and Field Organizer for Washington Conservation Voters. Nigel holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Comparative Religion from the University of Washington.
