Jason Kiel

Jason Kiel has a diverse background in law enforcement and technology. Since November 2011, Jason has served as a Commander for the City of Kennewick, overseeing patrol operations and inter-agency collaborations, including the implementation of a records management system. Previous roles include Lieutenant, Public Information Officer, Detective Sergeant, and Police Patrol Sergeant, emphasizing community liaison and tactical police operations. Additionally, Jason owns Wheatland Computer Services, focusing on technology solutions for small businesses, and has experience as Webmaster for the Washington State Patrol Troopers Association. Earlier in Jason's career, critical roles included training for criminal interdiction and serving as a narcotics canine handler with the Washington State Patrol. Jason holds a Bachelor of Science in Professional Studies from Brigham Young University - Idaho, graduating summa cum laude.
