Michael Blatman, CPP, has extensive experience in crime prevention and community engagement. Since September 1985, Michael has served as the Tri-Cities, WA Crime Stoppers Coordinator, where the initiative encourages community members to engage with local law enforcement to combat crime by addressing fear and apathy. Concurrently, Michael has worked at the Kennewick, WA Police Department as a Crime Prevention Specialist since February 1978. Michael holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Radio and Television News & Management from Eastern Washington University, which was obtained between 1972 and 1975, following education at Misawa Dependants High School in Japan.
