Andrew Lynch

Andrew Lynch, AICP, currently serves as the Deputy Director of Community Development for the City of Kentwood since September 2025. Prior to this role, Andrew was the Economic Development Manager and Assistant City Planner for the City of Wausau from May 2022 to September 2025. Andrew's career began in transportation planning with the Wausau Metropolitan Planning Organization, focusing on bicycling, pedestrian, and transit initiatives from June 2015 to May 2022. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Urban and Regional Planning from the University of Iowa, emphasizing Transportation and Land Use and Environmental Planning, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the same institution. Notable early experiences include roles as a Research Assistant at the University of Iowa working on NASA grant projects and as a Teaching Assistant in Geography.
