Brad Boomstra, P.E. is an experienced civil engineer currently serving as the City Engineer for the City of Kentwood since January 2020. Prior to this role, Brad held the position of Senior Engineer at Kent County for nearly 19 years, from September 2001 to January 2020, and worked as a Project Manager at CDM Smith from January 1999 to September 2001. Brad holds a Master of Science degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, obtained in 1998, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Calvin University, completed in 1997.
