Emily Reid, CPA, has extensive experience in financial analysis and accounting. Currently serving as a Financial Analyst for the City of Kingston since October 2018, Emily's role involves preparing quarterly and annual financial statements, executing the monthly general ledger close process, and ensuring compliance with IFRS. Prior to this, Emily worked as a Financial Analyst at Capital Power, where responsibilities included financial reporting and accounting standard research. Emily's experience also includes serving as a TA/Marker at Dalhousie University and as an Associate in Tax Services with PwC, where tasks encompassed preparing tax returns and assisting with audit engagements. Emily holds a Bachelor of Commerce Co-op in Accounting from Dalhousie University and is a graduate of the CPA program from the Western School of Business.
