Ruth Noordegraaf has a range of work experience, beginning in 2008 with roles as a Project Manager in various organizations. Ruth worked as a Project Manager for Louter projectmanagement from 2008 to 2010 and for the City of Eindhoven in the Netherlands in 2008-2009. In 2011, they served as a Project Manager for the New Energy Project. Moving forward, Ruth Noordegraaf was the Facilitator for the Kingston Immigration Partnership (KIP) at KCHC from 2012 to 2013. Ruth then became a Board Member (Volunteer) for the Kingston Coalition for Active Transportation (KCAT) from 2010 to 2014, where they worked on projects related to work place commuting and communication and marketing of KCAT. Ruth Noordegraaf also held the position of Executive Director at Sustainable Kingston from 2016 to 2017. Ruth joined Kingston Community Health Centres in 2017 as the Manager of Immigrant Services and later became the Director of Housing and Social Services for the City of Kingston in 2019. Additionally, Ruth Noordegraaf was a Co-chair of the Environmental Sustainability Advisory Committee (ESAC) at Limestone District Schoolboard from 2012 to 2014.
Ruth Noordegraaf completed their Bachelor's degree in Urban and Regional Planning at Saxion University of Applied Sciences in the Netherlands from 1998 to 2001. Ruth then pursued a Master's degree in the same field at Wageningen University & Research from 2001 to 2003. In 2006 and 2007, they furthered their education by completing a Post Bachelor Business Administration program at NCOI Education in the Netherlands, focusing on various subjects such as Management, HRM, Communication, Marketing, Finance, and Leadership.
