Amy Gillis Lowry, AICP, has extensive experience in urban planning, currently serving as City Planner II for the City of Kirkwood, Missouri, since October 2012, with previous roles as Assistant City Planner and Landmarks Liaison. Prior to this, Amy held positions at the City of Acworth, Georgia, from 1998 to 2001, including Economic Development Director and Downtown Development/Tourism Director, where responsibilities encompassed roles as Main Street Director and Historic Preservation Liaison. Education includes a Bachelor of Science in Foreign Service from Georgetown University and a Master of Urban and Regional Planning/Master of Public Administration from the University of Colorado Denver (1992-1996).
